Wilma Jean Duke, 87 of Nebo passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024, at her home with her loved ones at her side. Born June 13, 1936, to the late Raymond and Louise (Cansler) Pendley of Nortonville. She and her beloved husband enjoyed building a life together over the past 73 years. She looked forward to their traveling and camping trips together. Time with her family, especially all of the grandchildren, brought her joy in life.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Leon Pendley; sister, Frances Hulsey; and infant great-grandson, Austin Tanner Wint.
Survived by her husband, G.H. Duke; 4 children, Ronnie (Jeanne) Duke of Hanson, Donnie (Melinda) Duke of Cadiz, Sharon (Eddie) Carlisle of Madisonville and Teresa (Mark) Wint of Nebo; 9 grandchildren, Melanie Tesst, Chris Duke, Jason Duke, Eric Duke, Valerie Howard, Eddie Carlisle, Blake Carlisle, Sean Wint and Derek Wint; 21 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Gerri Lutz of Madisonville.
Service will be held at 1:00 Monday, April 29, 2024, at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville. Visitation will begin at 11:00am at the funeral home.
Family will have a private burial at New Salem Cemetery to follow.
