Wynetona "Toni" (Barnes) Welte

Wynetona "Toni" Welte, 82 of Mortons Gap passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Baptist Health Hospital.  Born February 24, 1939, to the late Leonard and Lucy (Whitfield) Barnes of Mortons Gap.  She worked as a waitress for many years while raising her family.  She had a zest for life and enjoyed dancing anytime a good beat came along.  She had a green thumb and a beautiful yard.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by three sons, Coy Solise, Troy Solise and Chad Solise.

Survived by her daughter, Panda (Rob) Rodriguez; son, Preston (Karen) Solise; 14 grandchildren, Dylan, Lindsay, Michaela, Timnesha, Rachel, Ryan, Jennifer, Shannon, Tonya, Amanda, Josh, Natalia, Clayton and Tanner; 10 great-grandchildren, Lexi, Luke, Katie, Gracie, Vyla, Callum, Madeline, Lily, Cyrus and Johnaven; and siblings, Ohoma, Omer, W.W., Lowman, Parthena and Paul.

Service will be held on Monday at 5:30 P.M. at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Brad Payne officiating.  Visitation will begin at 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Due to Covid-19 masks are mandated and social distancing is required by attendees.  Anyone that has or has had signs/symptoms or has tested positive in the past 14 days is requested to not attend.
