Zadie Dora (Crick) Knowles

Zadie Knowles, 98, of Nortonville passed away Friday, August 28, 2020, at Baptist Health Hospital. Born December 15, 1921, to the late Clarence and Tulie  Crick of Christian county. She was a member of New Abundant Life Fellowship in Nortonville. Zadie was a loving wife and wonderful mother to her 2 children and 2 grandchildren and was a pillar of her community and church family.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Knowles; son, Eddie Knowles; and 3 brothers, Denny, Holbert and Richard Crick; and grandson, Bradley Knowles.

Survived by her daughter, Joyce Knowles; daughter-in-law, Teresa Knowles; grandchildren, Stacey (Troy) Oakley and Paul (Sara) Knowles; 9 great-grands and 2 great-great-grands.

Service will be held Sunday, August 30, at 4:00 P.M. at New Abundant Life Fellowship with Rev. Gary Brothers and Rev. Brad Payne officiating. Burial to follow at New Salem cemetery.  Visitation will begin at the church at 2:00 P.M. til service at 4:00 P.M.

Attendees are mandated to wear masks and social distancing is required.  Please do not attend if you have or have had a fever or signs/symptoms in the past 14 days.
