Zelda Jean (Smith) Alexander

Zelda Jean Alexander, 66 of Earlington passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at her home.  Born May 17, 1957, to the late Rayford Eugene and the late Nora Dellar (Camplin) Smith Sappington.  Zelda had a fun-loving personality, always ready to laugh and joke, and great at meeting new people.  She liked to be helpful and stay busy so she would often mow her yard and her neighbors' too.  If you needed a shopping partner, she was usually at the ready.  Zelda was very family oriented, just staying involved in the lives of the ones that she loved spending time with.  Her presence and her commonsense guidance will be missed by her family.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter Thomas Ellis Alexander; and brothers, Terry Smith, Perry Smith and Clyde Smith.

Survived by brothers, Billy (Karen) Scott of Dawson Springs and Harry (Ni Ki Ta) Scott Jr. of Chattanooga, TN; half-sister, Doris (Mark) McNary of Pontiac, MI; and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be held Friday at noon at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Brad Payne officiating.  Burial to follow at Cranor Cemetery in St. Charles.  Visitation will begin at 10:00am at the funeral home.  Pallbearers will be Matthew Scott, Justin Crump, Gabe Schweitzer, Keenan Camplin, Caleb Camplin and Noah Camplin.
