Bobby LeRoy Wilson

Bobby LeRoy Wilson, 79, of Madisonville passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017, at St. Anthony's Hospice in Henderson.  Born August 28, 1938, to the late J.W. and Ethel (Maxwell) Wilson in Mississippi.  He retired from U.S. Steel in Gary, IN, where he worked in maintenance.  He was a Road Runner for Rizpah Shrine, a mason at Madisonville F & AM #143, and a member of New Salem Baptist Church in Nortonville.

Preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, James and Terry Wilson.

Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Nancy "Pete" Stewart Wilson; sons, Robert (Vickie) Wilson of Mortons Gap, and Michael (Tammy Lynn) Wilson of Princeton; three grandchildren, Brittany (Stephen) Wood, Megan Wilson, and Nathan Wilson; great-grandchild, Miela; and sister, O'uida Dodd of Louisiana.

Service to be held Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. at New Salem Baptist Church in Nortonville with Bro. Steve Rutherford officiating.  Masonic Rites will be held at the cemetery.  Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Madisonville.  Visitation will be held at the church Monday 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. and after 11 A.M. on Tuesday.  Pallbearers are Deven Chavez, Stephen Wood, Bruce Outlaw, Mike Adams, John Phillips, Butch Gipson, and honorary will be Robert Matthews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
