It's been over 45years since I saw you and Donald, but I still remember what a special bond we all had. I moved to the south my senior year, but still think of you guys often. I got word this morning of Donald's passing and it broke my heart.

He was one of the kindest and big hearted people I have ever known. I remember riding the bus with him after I had foot surgery and it was all bandaged. 9th glade. Donald got on the bus and accidentally stepped on my foot. It hurt so bad I cried. He was so upset that he took a seat beside me and just put his big hand on my shoulder and made sure no one else could see me He was the epitome of a kind and gentle giant of a man. I always loved spending the night at his home with some other guys ( Louie, David, Doug, and others). His mom ALWAYS had all the makings for big scrumptious banana splits. Loved to go there. Good memories.

You and Shelia lived next door. Fun times back then. I am so so sorry to hear this news. It makes you realize just how short life can be. I loved seeing your family on my wife's Facebook page of yours. You did really well Debbie. You have so much to live for in that big family that you and Donald produced. Love them. Lead them. Help them cherish his memory. They will be looking for your strengh. It is evident you have so much of it. Take care and know I care deeply about your loss.

Debbie and Donia, I am so sorry to hear about Donald's passing. He was always very kind when he would come into the bank. I have never forgotten how he would always ask about my daughter after her surgeries. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your familiy in the days ahead.
