Donnie Wayne Rodgers, 58 of Nortonville passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at his home. Born October 12, 1958, to the late Arthur and Mayme (Carroll) Rodgers. Donnie was a member of Lone Star Pentecostal Church and was a superintendent for ICSS. He loved time with his family and church family, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Also preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon and Karen Rodgers; brother, Philip Rodgers; and grandparents, Hershel and Rittie Carroll, and Virgil and Annie Rodgers.
Survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Tonda Hoffman Rodgers; son, Micah (Lynn Ann) Rodgers of Nortonville; daughter, Mekenzi Rodgers of AL; granddaughter, Carlie Rodgers; three brothers, Larry (Donna) Rodgers, Mark (Lori) Rodgers, and Michael Rodgers, all of Nortonville; three sisters, JoAnne (Jim) Crick of Nortonville, Christine (Craig) Byers of Madisonville, and Sandy (Boyd) Mackey of Nortonville; mother-in-law, Joy Hoffman of St. Charles; brother-in-law, Larry (Chris) Hoffman of FL; and sister-in-law, Brenda (Michael) Frye of SC.
Service will be held Friday at Lone Star church in Madisonville at 11:00am with Rev. Josh Lutz and Rev. Roy Duke officiating. Burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nortonville. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 4pm - 7pm and Friday after 9am. Pallbearers are Zachary Crick, Houston Crick, Isaiah Peake, Cody Byers, Mason Byers, and Jason Rodgers.
