my heart is broken you have always been like family , friend and we loved gene ,ruth ,and Stanley our town is almost gone but memories we cherish will carry on ,I love you friend and you will be missed RIP! you are another blessing god made part of my life , prayers to all your family and friends may god wrap his arms around them and give comfort , our hearts are heavy but those of us that knew you and loved you know you are up in heaven looking down smiling !

I came to know Gene through Stan and Birmingham Bolt Co. Always smiling and quick to tell a joke, a nicer guy would be hard to find. So sorry to hear of his passing. My sympathies goes out to his family. He was one of a kind...

Steve was such a huge part of my high school years. Most of all my memories are filled with long summer days at Nortonville Lake and seemingly endless laughter as our gang floated around in inner tubes for hours on end. Nights hanging out at The Pole...Steve was always the jokester, the fun guy. He lives in each of our hearts. I am so sorry for your loss.
