Wilbur Ray Vandiver, 55 years, of Nortonville passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at Baptist Health Hospital. Born July 14, 1961, to the late Leslie and Allie (Reynolds) Vandiver. He was mail truck driver for Wayne Knight Trucking and a member of Nortonville Baptist Church. He loved spending time with family, friends at Gill's, running rabbit dogs, hunting and fishing.
Preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Janice Brasher.
Survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Mary Todd Vandiver; two daughters, Kayla Vandiver of Nortonville and Jackie (Cynthia) Greer of White Plains; son, Matt (Amber) Greer of Nortonville; grandchildren, Nick Rodgers, Abigale, Adelyn, Jaxon and Kenadee Greer; brothers, Dale (Penny) Vandiver of Nortonville and James (Tammy) Vandiver of Mortons Gap; nephews, Jeff Brasher, Travis and Jake Vandiver; and close friends, Kevin Stratton and Fred Jarvis.
Service will be held Sunday at 2:00PM at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Bobby Reno and Bro. Charlie Spears officiating. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday 5P - 8P and after Noon Sunday. Pallbearers are Jeff Brasher, Jake Vandiver, Frank Dame, Kevin Stratton, Fred Jarvis, and Gill. Honorary are Travis Smith and Travis Vandiver.
