Linda Faye (Phelps) Stringfield

Linda Faye (Phelps) Stringfield, 74 of Nortonville, passed away Saturday August 19, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born April 25, 1943 in Mannington, Ky to the late Lambert Boyd Phelps and late Jessie Louise Page Pickering.  Linda retired from Goodyear after 28 years of employment and was a faithful member of New Good Hope Church.  She loved her family and always had a smile for everyone.
She is also preceded in death by her husband, William Stringfield and one sister, Catherine Young.
Linda is survived by her sons, Gary (Janice) Stringfield of Pembroke, Kevin (Gloria) Stringfield of Nortonville, and Michael Stringfield of Nortonville; one grand daughter, Maranda (Rusty) Maddox of Crofton; one great grandchild, Mason Maddox; one sister, Kaye (Ronnie) Compton of Crofton; two brothers, Joe (Leida) Phelps of Topeka, KS and Johnny (Connie) Phelps of Nortonville; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1pm at Bandy Funeral Home, Nortonville with Bro. Larry Phaup officiating and Bro. Thad Hopper and Bro. Alan Hopper with words of remembrance.  Burial will be in Old Burg Cemetery, Mannington.  Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 11am - 1pm.  Condolences may be made online at bandyfuneralhome.com.
