Rose Marie (Halbur) Wood

Rose Marie Wood, 82 years of White Plains passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Baptist Health Hospital.  Born August 31, 1934, to the late John and Crescentia (Steauter) Halbur.  She enjoyed crafting as a hobby and car shows with her late husband.

Preceded in death by her husband, Everett Wood; sister, Dorothy Welch; two brothers, Jack and Richard Halbur.

Survived by two sons, Mike (Debbie) Wood of White Plains and Jimmy (Judy) Wood of Madisonville; daughter, Diana (Brett) Chappell of Dawson Springs; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and brother, Jim (Debbie) Halbur of CO.

Service will be on Saturday at 2:00PM at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Father Vaughan officiating.  Burial to follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in White Plains.  Visitation will be Friday 5:00PM - 8:00PM and after noon on Saturday at the funeral home.  Pallbearers are Jody Darnell, Brandon and Shane Chappell, Bradley Wood, Bob Cottingham, and Ronnie (Bones) Mullins. Honorary pallbearer is Jeremy Wood.
